We hope you will enjoy the Sat-Finder a long time.
Before using this Sat-Finder please intent read the below instructions.
Caution:
The Sat-Finder is a practical aid to the assembly and adjustment of satellite
antennas. It can be used as indicator for the adjustment of the antenna
reflector of the LNB position and the LNB polarity.
Wiring and operation:
a) Connect a jumper cable from the LNB to the "TO LNB" connection
on the Satellite Finder.
b) Connect the cable from your satellite receiver to the "TO REC" input
on the Sat-Finder.
c) Check the correct connection. Plug the mains plug of the SAT receiver
into a wall outlet and turn the receiver on.
d) Switch the satellite receiver on. The Sat-Finder's scale should
be lit at this time and the meter reading should be around 0.
e) Set your dish to the proper azimuth and elevation settings. (This
information should be supplied with your satellite dish.)
f) Set the Sat-Finder's scale reading to about 5 by adjusting the level
control found on the face of the Satellite Finder. (Turning the knob
clockwise will increase the reading.)
g) Peak the signal by slowly moving the azimuth and elevation of your
dish. If the Sat-Finder's reading becomes full scale adjusting the
level control knob to reduce the reading to around 5. (Turning the knob
counterclockwise will decrease the reading.) Continue to move the
dish until you have the highest possible meter reading and the highest
possible buzzer pitch.
h) Remove the jumper cable and Sat-Finder and reconnect the
LNB / LNBF to your receiver.
Important Notes:
Do not position the Sat-Finder directly in front of the satellite dish, otherwise
the display will show full power at all times. A jump of the display to the
highest value of the display scale means that the receiver signal is too
high for the SAT Finder. In this case, reduce the sensitivity of the
Sat-Finder by turning the control knob counter-clockwise. If this is not
enough to receive a medium display range, eg when using a high-
capacity LNB with high amplification (> 60 dB) or a satellite antenna that
is larger than 1 m, you should insert an additional level controller between
the LNB and the SAT Finder (attenuation controller 0-20 dB).
To prevent short circuits, separate any multi-switches and the satellite
receiver from their power supply before connecting (pull the power plug).
In case no satellite receiver is at hand a 12-18V power supply with
F-connector can be connected on the TO REC side of the Satellite Finder
to power the Satellite Finder.

제품 연결 방법
STEP 1
LNB에서 나오는 케이블을
"TO LNB" 단자에 연결합니다.

STEP 2
위성 수신기(Receiver)에서 나오는 케이블을
"TO REC" 단자에 연결합니다.
↓
STEP 3
위성 수신기의 전원을 켭니다.
정상적으로 연결되면
표시창 백라이트가 켜지고
바늘이 0 부근을 표시합니다.

STEP 4
안테나를 설치 위치에 맞게
방위각(Azimuth)
고도각(Elevation)
으로 맞춰줍니다.
↓
STEP 5
전면 감도 조절 노브를 돌려
계기판이 약 5 정도를 표시하도록 설정합니다.
※ 시계 방향으로 돌리면 감도가 증가합니다.
↓
STEP 6
안테나를 천천히 움직이며
가장 높은 신호가 표시되는 지점을 찾습니다.
바늘이 가장 높게 표시
부저음이 가장 높게 들리는 위치
가 최적의 수신 위치입니다.

STEP 7
설정이 완료되면
SAT Finder를 제거한 후
LNB를 위성 수신기에 직접 연결하면 설치 완료됩니다.
감도 조절 방법
신호가 너무 강하면 계기판이 항상 최대값을 표시할 수 있습니다.
이 경우
감도 조절 노브를 반시계 방향으로 돌려 감도를 낮춰 사용하십시오.
사용 시 주의사항
✔ SAT Finder를 안테나 정면에 두지 마십시오.
✔ 계기판이 항상 최대값을 표시하면 감도를 낮춰 사용하십시오.
✔ 고출력 LNB(60dB 이상) 또는 1m 이상의 대형 안테나 사용 시에는
0~20dB 감쇠기(Attenuator)를 추가하면 보다 정확하게 측정할 수 있습니다.
✔ 연결 전에 위성 수신기와 멀티스위치의 전원을 반드시 차단하여 단락(쇼트)을 방지하십시오.
✔ 위성 수신기가 없는 경우에는
12~18V F타입 전원 공급장치를 이용하여 SAT Finder에 전원을 공급할 수 있습니다.
